ABOUT

El Myler (1990) is a Dutch artist based in Hilversum, The Netherlands. After graduating (2014) at the Design Academy in Eindhoven she started working in the retail sector as a Designer. Creating collections of stationery, partygoods and homeware for several departmentstores, drugstores and supermarkets in Europe. It was fulfilling to learn about this world, but after some time, a need for a playground appeard. A playground to try new things, to create in autonomous ways again. After years of exploring, her talent and love for creating bold graphics stood out.

'A lot of my inspiration comes from nature. Translated to simplified, bold and colorful patterns and illustrations. Created by hand or digitally, I love keeping the human touch visible. I believe that the imperfectness makes it interesting and real.'
